Mattias Ekholm picked up one assist in the Oilers' 5-3 loss to the Penguins Thursday night.

Ekholm has been a solid option in the offensive zone of late, notching points in six of his last 12 games (three goals, four assists) for the Oilers. The defenseman remains a difference-making option in both zones, notching 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) while also racking up 60 blocked shots, 30 hits, and 20 takeaways in 41 games so far this season.
