Michael Carcone snaps slump with goal in overtime loss

Michael Carcone found the back of the net in Wednesday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Penguins, scoring on one of his three shots while adding two hits.
Fantasy Impact:
Carcone capitalized on a rare opportunity, drawing into the lineup alongside Liam O’Brien while Matias Maccelli was a healthy scratch. His third-line role resulted in his fourth goal of the season, ending a five-game point drought. However, his place in the lineup remains uncertain, as he had been scratched for eight of Utah’s previous 11 contests. With 10 points, 54 shots, 28 hits, and 23 PIM over 32 games, Carcone offers little fantasy appeal outside of deep leagues that reward physical stats.
