Mikhail Sergachev made an immediate impact in his return from an upper-body injury, scoring a power-play goal in the first period of Wednesday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Penguins. He finished with three shots on goal and four blocked shots while logging 25:57 of ice time.

Sergachev showed no rust after missing five games, stepping right back into a top-pairing role while contributing in all situations. The goal snapped a 13-game drought dating back to before his absence.
