Kyle MacLean snaps 17-game drought with assist

MacLean picked up an assist in Thursday’s 3-0 victory over the Flyers, setting up Marc Gatcomb’s first career goal. The veteran forward has been a mainstay on the fourth line but had gone 17 games without a point before finally getting back on the scoresheet.
Fantasy Impact:
While MacLean’s defensive presence keeps him in the lineup, his offensive production is nearly nonexistent, making him a non-factor in most fantasy formats. He has just five points through 50 games, along with 37 shots, 64 hits, and 20 blocked shots. Unless he carves out a more significant role, fantasy managers can continue to look elsewhere for depth scoring.
