Jaden Schwartz scored a goal on three shots and logged two PIM in Thursday’s 6-2 victory over San Jose. He capitalized on a breakaway coming out of the penalty box in the second period, chasing Yaroslav Askarov from the game.

Schwartz is heating up, finishing January with six goals and 10 points in 15 games. He’s up to 18 goals and 35 points through 53 contests, putting him on pace for his best season in five years.
