Artem Zub, known more for his defensive play, had a surprising three-point outburst in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Lightning. He recorded a goal and two assists, becoming just the second defenseman in franchise history to post three points in a season opener.

Fantasy managers should not rush to the waiver wire after this performance. This was a significant outlier for the stay-at-home defenseman, who produced just 13 points in 56 games last season. While it was a fantastic start to the year for Zub, this level of offensive production is unsustainable, and he holds minimal value in standard fantasy formats.
