Max Homa carded rounds of 71-62-66-66 to wind up scoring 17-under-par en route to a T5 finish at the 2022 PGA Tour Championship.
Homa started slowly but set the East Lake course record with an eight-under-par finish in the second round. The 30-year-old Californian built off of this momentum and turned in rounds of four-under-par on Saturday and Sunday to climb into a top-five finish in the FedExCup playoffs. This yielded a $3 million purse.
