Our Player Ranker uses a smart algorithm to help you create Flex rankings with little or no work. We do this by marrying your personal RB, WR and TE ranks with our data on “positional rank value” to create your default Flex Rankings. Positional rank value is based on historical fantasy point production and expert consensus projections.
In other words, our tool will generate Flex Rankings for you. If you like them keep them. If you want to tweak them, feel free. If you’d rather not take advantage of the smart short cut, that’s OK too.
Here are more details on the process for those of you that are interested in learning more:
- Just rank and save your RB, WR and TE positions. Once you’ve done this, our Ranker will create default Flex Rankings for you.
- These Flex Rankings are based on your by-position rankings, so you won’t see any illogical ranks (e.g. if you rank McFadden over Turner in your RB Rankings, Turner won’t be above McFadden in the Flex Rankings).
- Review the default Flex Rankings. If you like them, simply Save them and you’re done.
- Saved rankings will be published to our tools when you “Publish Rankings” from the Dashboard. You can also use our Embed Code to publish the rankings on your site (your readers will love that you offer flex rankings!).
- If you want to make changes to our default Flex Rankings, feel free to move players around by dragging and dropping them. Just be sure that you don’t drag someone above or below another player of the same position (that would be illogical). We make this easy for you with color coded rows based on the player’s position.
- If/when you want to revise your positional rankings, do so within the RB, WR and TE positions. Then, after saving, go to your Flex Rankings and “Update” them to synch up with your most recent changes.
Best case scenario you have fully automated Flex Rankings that require zero incremental work. What we like to call our “InstaFlex” solution.
Worst case scenario we’ve done 90% of the work for you by making sure your defaulted Flex rankings are perfectly aligned with your by-position rankings. Then it’s just a matter of tweaking to get to your desired output.
