POINT GUARD
Brandon Knight (Opponent – IND) ($7,200 Proj. Pts – 37.42)
He is playing very high minutes, forty-plus minutes in his last four games. He needs 32 points to pay value. In his last two games at home he reached that total. You should lock him in.
Russell Westbrook (Opponent – DEN) (S10,700 Proj. Pts – 56.42)
Believe it or not Denver in the past five games are worse than the Lakers against PGs. Mudiay is still learning, and there’s no way he can guard Westbrook. I can see Westbrook finishing his first half with 35+ fantasy points. Very hard to fade him on a short slate.
SHOOTING GUARD
Tyler Johnson (Opponent – MIL) ($5,100 Proj. Pts – 29.79)
Without Dragic and Udrih, Miami really doesn’t have anyone other than Johnson. He’s basically the value pick for the night, and you can add him to your cash games lineup. He does every thing on the court from scoring to rebounding plus he posted four assists in each of his last four games. He can easily pay value.
Will Barton (Opponent – OKC) ($6,100 Proj. Pts -36.45)
Jameer Nelson is out and he used to play 30 + minutes each game. Those minutes have to go somewhere. There’s no better place than giving Barton extra playing time against Oklahoma City.
Monta Ellis (Opponent – PHX) (6,500 Proj. Pts – 30.05)
No George Hill and Phoenix is the second-worst defensive team in the league. The only issue is that anyone can score against Phoenix, so any player on the Pacers will get the chance to have an amazing night. I think the best thing to do is to pick the value players and stack them.
SMALL FORWARD
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Opponent – MIN) ($7,000 Proj. Pts – 24.45)
He had double-double in his last four games. The Bucks have been on fire lately, and his price didn’t chnage that much for a guy who had 180 fantasy points in his last four games. keep in mind he plays small forward and in the last five games Miami is worse than Washington against the position.
Danilo Gallinari (Opponent – OKC) ($7,100 Proj. Pts – 40.43)
He is one of the most consistent players on Denver’s team in home games. His minutes are there and it’s a great match up for him. One of the things that I do not like about Denver is the rotation. You never know who will get the minutes, but Danilo had 35+ in his last seven games.
Paul George (Opponent – PHX) ($9,200 Proj. Pts – 45.23)
By the way, you will see a lot of Pacers tonight. The Suns are very bad. In their last game they played Minnesota who had lost their last nine games. The Timberwolves broke their losing streak by winning the game against the Suns. So we’re stacking Pacers.
Kevin Durant (Opponent – DEN) ($9,900 Proj. Pts – 47.12)
We only have four games tonight and I really think it’s smart to stack Westbrook and Durant. Some DFS players might think this is risky, but really think about it, who else on Oklahoma City is consistent other than Durant and Westbrook.
POWER FORWARD
Markieff Morris (Opponent – IND) ($4,800 Proj. Pts – 31.65)
He is a great player and is finally getting the minutes. Morris has huge upside in this game. His price will give us the chance to add top players into our lineups. He’s a good pick for cash and GPP contests.
Chris Bosh (Opponent – MIL) ($7,600 Proj. Pts – 45.21)
I love this guy when he plays at home, so let’s figure out why he is projected at 45 points for tonight. First of all no Dragic. Secondly Wade isn’t healthy. And Whiteside’s minutes are up and down. That leaves us with one guy and that’s Bosh. Lock him in.
Also Consider:
- Myles Turner and Lavoy Allen if Mahimni is out
CENTER
Hassan Whiteside (Opponent – MIL) ($7,500 Proj. Pts – 38.13)
He’s great for GPP due to the risk of playing time and foul trouble.
Greg Monroe (Opponent – MIA) ($6,900 Proj. Pts – 38.67)
He’s great for cash games, 30+ fantasy points in seven games out of his last nine.
Nikola Jokic (Opponent – OKC) ($4,800 Proj. Pts – 23.89)
Only for GPP due to the risk of playing time. Denver has some crazy rotations, and you never know who will get the minutes at center.
