James Harden will be one of the few non-rested stars on Wednesday’s slate
Sigh, the regular season ends tonight. If you’re playing contests tonight, be absolutely certain you can be available to adjust your lineups right up until roster lock. I tried to construct this lineup in such a way that focuses on games that still have some meaning while also utilizing players that are likely looking at a boost due to players resting. Let’s take a look at a tournament lineup one last time for the 2015-2016 NBA regular season on FantasyAces.

Guards
James Harden (HOU): $7,400 vs. SAC
The Kings are a deplorable defensive squad and with the Rockets taking their playoff chances right down to the wire, look for Harden to have a big game. The Rockets are 15-point favorites, but they can’t take any chances with this contest. The projected total sits at a whopping 222.5 points, so there should be plenty of fantasy goodness to go around in this game.
Seth Curry (SAC): $3,500 @ HOU
The Kings will be without Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison, which should translate to heavy minutes for Curry tonight. He flashed some upside two nights ago, scoring 50 fantasy points in 38 minutes of action. As I noted above, this contest should feature plenty of scoring with little defense, creating a good scenario for Curry to crush his value thresholds.
Austin Rivers (LAC): $3,650 @ PHO
Rivers should be looking at plenty of run tonight with Chris Paul, J.J. Redick and Jamal Crawford all resting against the Suns. Phoenix does not defend the perimeter well and this should translate to a big night from Rivers.
Forwards
Derrick Favors (UTA): $4,900 @ LAL
The Jazz are on the outside looking in, so they need a win and some help tonight in Kobe Bryant’s final game. The Lakers are not a good defensive team and with Rudy Gobert not likely to play, Favors will need to anchor Utah in the paint.
Rudy Gay (SAC): $5,750 @ HOU
Provided he suits up tonight, Gay should be the focal point on offense against the Rockets. Houston struggles to defend the small forward position and with Rajon Rondo, Darren Collison and DeMarcus Cousins on the shelf, there are plenty of shots to be replaced.
Bobby Portis (CHI): $3,900 vs. PHI
The Bulls have shut down Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol, so there are plenty of front court minutes to be absorbed. I look for Portis to see a boost and against the woeful Sixers, the matchup couldn’t be much better.
Center
Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN): $6,300 vs. NO
Towns will be looking to cap off a stellar rookie season on a high note against a depleted New Orleans team. The Pelicans are weak inside and Towns should have his way.
Utility
Shelvin Mack (UTA): $4,650 @ LAL
The Lakers own the worst defense in the league and point guard is no exception. As I noted earlier, Utah needs to win and get some help to make the playoffs, so Mack should be looking at a full complement of minutes. The focus will be on Kobe Bryant as he closes out his career, but this game has big playoff implications for the Jazz.
Nerlens Noel (PHI): $4,900 @ CHI
Noel has looked great over the last three games, scoring at least 37 fantasy points a contest during that span. He’s recorded a double-double in all three games, and he will have a great shot at making it four in a row tonight against the Bulls.
