Fantasy Impact:

Bazzana, the top overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, is Cleveland's top prospect and ranked 16th overall according to Baseball America's Top 100 list. He had an excellent spring with the Guardians, batting .381 (8-for-21) with three home runs and 11 RBI in eight games. The 23-year-old second baseman was slashing .287/.422/.511 in Columbus across 117 plate appearances. Through 24 games, Bazzana had 11 doubles, two triples, two home runs, and eight stolen bases. He also played for his native Australia in the World Baseball Classic and went 3-for-16 with a home run. Bazzana is expected to take over second base for the Guardians, who currently sit in second place in the AL Central standings. Bazzana is a must-add in fantasy in all formats as he brings a solid combination of speed and pop, along with excellent plate discipline, to a Cleveland lineup averaging four runs per game this season.
