Cubs starter Chris Volstad had a terrible afternoon at home against the Dodgers on Saturday. Volstad did manage to last five innings, but he gave up five earned runs on four hits and three walks over that span and took the loss to fall to 0-4 on the year in his first season with the Cubs. The Cubs announced on Friday that starting pitchers Matt Garza and Chris Volstad would swap places in the rotation this weekend against the Dodgers, with Garza moving back to Sunday and Volstad ahead to Saturday. The move comes as a result of an illness Garza is dealing with.
CBS Sports | May 2nd, 3:04am
With Tuesday's game between the Cubs and Reds being postponed due to rain, Matt Garza will have his next start pushed back from Friday to Saturday. He will still face off against the Dodgers, with Chris Volstad scheduled to pitch in Sunday's series finale. Volstad has a 6.11 ERA through five starts this season.

That was enough for Volstad to suffer the loss and fall to 0-3 on the year. Volstad allowed four runs on six hits and...
