Tigers prospect Jacob Turner made his first start since dealing with tendinitis in his shoulder on Monday for Class A Lakeland. He threw four no-hit innings, issuing two walks while facing one of the minimum.

According to MLive.com, Tigers pitcher Jacob Turner continues to work his way back from tendinitis in his pitching shoulder. Turner has been in Lakeland, Fla. since spring training. "He's in his throwing progression down there," head athletic trainer Kevin Rand said. "He's scheduled to pitch here soon."
