“It's hard to imagine him improving on last season, but he'll come close to matching it. ”

“Morse was arguably the biggest surprise in all of baseball last season. He has power and hits for average.”

“Similar to Napoli, this was a guy a targeted a year ago in a big money auction league, but didn't get him. Someone else with more money swooped him at the end. My loss, his gain. Granted, Morse has 1B eligibility, he will probably see more time in the OF. There is no chance in Gods green Earth that this guy duplicates his .303 average, but his power is legit. Like Adam Dunn from 5 years ago legit. I think he's a guy to start penciling in .270, 35-40, 90, 90 for the next few years. He's young, he's big, and he's country strong.”

“Morse is ready to be a fantasy MVP. In nearly his first full season he hit 31 HRs while driving in 96 RBIs. With the Nationals a bit better, and Ryan Zimmerman healthy to get on base all season. There is no reason to think Morse can take his game to the next level. He also hit over .300 which shows there is no downside to this slugger/star.”

“I trust Morse for more of the same. Will he get better? No. But he was so consistent last year, I think his power stays and maybe his .avg drops a bit. That's worth it for me where he's going. He seems like a safe pick for a repeat season in rounds where other drafters will be taking their first chances on people. I'd rather be safe.”

“After missing nearly all of 2008, Michael Morse has developed into one of the NL's most prolific power hitters. Seriously, that's not really saying that much, considering the NL. Expect at least a .280 AVG with 25 HR.”
