Mike Adams was unavailable the first two games of the Lone Star Series as he continues to deal with a respiratory infection that has drained him of energy.Tests ruled out pneumonia for Adams, who was noticeably hit by the illness May 14 against Kansas City. But the Rangers' eighth-inning reliever said he was feeling better and was ready to contribute in the finale.'Yeah, I'm getting better,' Adams said, after an extended coughing fit. 'I'm going to tell them I'm good to go. I've never had a respiratory infection like this. It has zapped all my energy.'

Texas reliever Mike Adams told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on Sunday that he feels better and could be available out of the bullpen against the Astros.
