Michael Beasley officially signs with the Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have signed free agent forward Michael Beasley as a Substitute Player for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season. (Anthony Puccio on Twitter )

Beasley will serve a five-game suspension before he is eligible to play in Orlando. The Nets are down seven players and have brought in veterans Jamal Crawford and Michael Beasley. Beasley will play a key role off the Nets bench once he returns from his suspension. The 31-year-old averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists across 26 games for the Lakers last season.
