Thomas has bounced around the league lately, finding himself on multiple NBA teams on short-term deals and primarily playing in the G League. He has been dominant for the Grand Rapids Gold, and the Hornets are taking a shot on him. It isn't clear what kind of a role he is going to play yet, but he will likely see a solid amount of minutes and has an opportunity to re-establish himself in the league.
