Derrick Williams Agrees To Two-Year, $10M Deal With Knicks

by Brian Naylor | Sat, Jul 4th 8:53am EDT

Derrick Williams has agreed to a two-year, $10M deal with the Knicks. The second year of the deal will be a player option. (RealGM)

Fantasy Impact:

Williams will have a chance to shine on a roster with very limited talent. The Knicks will lose a lot of games next year and will be in a prime position to give a lot of minutes to Williams who was taken second overall in the 2011 draft. The one issue that remains to be seen will be who is going to play point guard for the Knicks, because Williams is a transition offense kind of scorer and will rely on the play-making abilities of the players around him to be effective.
