The San Antonio Spurs have signed veteran forward Stanley Johnson to a one-year contract, per The Athletic's Shams Charania. (The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
Amid all of the injuries to the Spurs, they are bringing in the former lottery pick. Johnson was released prior to the season by the Utah Jazz after an off-season trade with the Los Angeles Lakers. During his eight-year career, Johnson has struggled to provide much fantasy value. The tanking Spurs might give him some run, but with so many young players on the team, it would make sense for them to see what they have. That will likely hinder Johnson's upside.
