Dante Exum hurts knee in international exhibition

by Dale Redman | Mavericks Correspondent | Tue, Aug 4th 4:42pm EDT

Jazz point guard Dante Exum went down with a knee injury during an exhibition game with Team Australia. The second-year point guard went down on a non-contact play and did not return to the game. He will return to Salt Lake City for further evaluation. (John Schuhmann on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Does not look good for the second-year guard as it appears to be a serious knee injury. Exum was in line to start in the backcourt alongside Trey Burke after a somewhat disappointing rookie season. If Exum is out long-term, Alec Burks likely gets a fantasy boost as he would assume the starting point guard role for Utah.
