Tajae Sharpe makes jaw-dropping catch to top off combine performance

by Paul Alan | Sat, Feb 27th 2:49pm EST

6'2", 195lb WR Tajae Sharpe from UMass put on a show at the combine as he hauled in a beautiful fingertip catch in positional drills. He was a top performer in the gauntlet, despite having some of the smallest hands of any receiver prospect (8 3/8"). He is not a flashy prospect, but one who consistently makes contested catches and works toward the ball in the air. He has a vertical leap of 33.5 inches and a broad jump of 9'6". (Walter Football)

Fantasy Impact:

Tajae Sharpe is likely to me a mid-round selection, but could have improved his stock with his outstanding positional drill performance. He could be one of the most overlooked playmakers in this draft. While some cold-weather teams might shy away from him due to his hand size, there are surely teams confident enough to invest in his innate ability to make tough catches.
