Brandon Gibson was putting together a solid preseason for the Patriots but unfortunetly he will now be sidelined for the entire 2015 season with a torn ACL. Gibson added depth to the Patriots and he saw plenty of action this preseason with Edelman, LaFell and Dobson all sitting out preseason games so far.

Brandon Gibson had 8 receptions for 68 yards on Saturday evenings Pre-Season game 2 against the New Orleans Saints.

Brandon Gibson put together another nice outing for the Patriots on Saturday night has he had 8 receptions for 68 yards against the Saints. Gibson has been making the most of his playing time as LaFell, Edelman, Dobson have sat out as well as the recent injury news of Tyms missing all of 2015 with a foot injury. Gibson will need to continue to impress if he looks to crack the line-up or just the roster in 2015.

Brandon Gibson did a solid job of capitalizing on all 4 of his targets but failed to average solid YAC. Gibson has had a solid camp and was hoping to lift his game with Edelman, LaFell and Tyms all out in the preseason opener.

Wide receiver Brandon Gibson -- inked to a one-year deal this offseason following two seasons in Miami -- feels like the type of player who could fit that mold. Gibson’s deal included just $40,000 guaranteed, with a base salary of $825,000. It also included a reporting bonus (to training camp) for $40,000, making Gibson the lone Patriot with such a bonus in his contract for 2015

Brandon Gibson has always been a player with high potential. But he has never really been ever to take the next step to become a top target in an offense with his high in catches for a season being 51 in 2012 with the Rams. He is a nice player to have on an NFL roster but does not do enough to have fantasy relevance.
