Jordan Taylor scores on lone catch of the night

Jordan Taylor scored a six-yard TD against the Chiefs on Sunday night. It was his only reception on four targets.

Fantasy Impact

The TD was Jordan Taylor's second of the season, and second in the last two weeks. Jordan Taylor had a great preseason, but has failed to record more than two catches or 35 yards in any game in the regular season. He played on 21% of the Broncos' offensive snaps in this one, so he should not be a consideration for fantasy owners at this time.

Jordan Norwood finds the end zone

Jordan Norwood caught two passes on four targets for 56 yards, including a 36-yard TD pass from QB Trevor Siemian.

Fantasy Impact

This was Jordan Norwood's first regular season TD since 2011 and while he probably is the third WR on the Broncos' offense, that doesn't mean much in terms of fantasy production. The Broncos have a middle-of-the-pack passing offense based on yardage, but they funnel their passing game almost completely through their top two wide outs. Norwood might see a bump in value if one of them went down, but even then, Bennie Fowler and Jordan Taylor would be in the mix. He should be left on the waiver wire in all formats.

Jordan Norwood sees additional targets in Week 6

Jordan Norwood had five catches on seven targets for 39 yards in the Broncos' loss to the Chargers on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact

Norwood, a seventh-year pro, has been the Broncos' #3 WR all season, but with the Broncos' struggles on offense, this has been by far his best game of the season. The Broncos did seem more interested in spreading the ball around in this game, but they still had a pretty poor overall offensive showing. Norwood should continue to be ignored in all formats.

Jordan Norwood quiet in preseason dress rehearsal

Jordan Norwood had one target in the Broncos' preseason game against the Rams on Saturday night, which fell incomplete.

Fantasy Impact

Norwood again saw some time as the Broncos' #3 WR, but should not be relied upon for any production this season. Even in dynasty leagues, he's best left on the waiver wire.

Jordan Norwood sees time with first team offense

Jordan Norwood started the Broncos' second preseason game in three WR sets on Saturday night and ended up with four catches on six targets for 30 yards.

Fantasy Impact

Four of Norwood's targets came in the Broncos' first two drives of the game, with second-year signal called Trevor Siemian under center. Though Latimer is probably more likely to be the Broncos' number three WR on opening day, Jordan Norwood is making his case for the job as well. It's possible that Siemian and Norwood have developed chemistry from their time together on the Broncos' third team offense last year. If so, Norwood may be a player who's role in the offense is very much tied to who wins the Broncos' starting QB job. Either way, he should not be drafted in standard redraft leagues, and should be left on the waiver wire for the time being in all but the very deepest of dynasty leagues.
