Thomas Vanek plays well despite loss

Thomas Vanek scored a goal in the Red Wings 6-5 overtime loss to the Flyers on Saturday. He was a plus two with one goal on three SOG in 13:55 of ice-time.
Fantasy Impact:
Vanek is a good candidate to be dealt before the deadline. He is now 35 years old on a team with no playoff aspirations. Depending on a destination his fantasy value may change. At this point in time his 12 goals and 17 assists in 51 games is just not rosterable.
