Brady Tkachuk scores game-winning-goal against Detroit

by Brendan Ballantyne | Senators Correspondent | Wed, Nov 20th 12:09pm EST

Brady Tkachuk potted his seventh goal of the season, which was the eventual game-winner, in the Senators' 4-3 victory over the Red Wings on Tuesday. He fired six shots on goal and added one hit.

Fantasy Impact:

After a very solid seven-game stretch that saw Tkachuk record eight points (four goals, four assists), Tkachuk was held scoreless for three straight until this goal snapped the streak. Tkachuk is now up to 12 points through 21 games this season and continues to play on the Sens' first power-play unit, averaging more power-play time than anyone not named Thomas Chabot (3:23). Even without the most consistent point production, Tkachuk has the ninth-most shots and 11th-most hits in the NHL, so he's a solid well-rounded fantasy option and is proving to be a must-have in keeper formats.
