Bertuzzi fills a hole in a top-six forward group that lost Ryan O’Reilly and Michael Bunting to begin free agency. The enigmatic winger has flashed an elite finishing ability while also disappearing at times, but will look to reach his full potential playing alongside the core four forwards of William Nylander, Mitch Marner, John Tavares, and Auston Matthews for head coach Sheldon Keefe this upcoming season.
