David Perron picked up one assist in the Red Wings' 2-1 win over the Avalanche Thursday night.

Perron continues a strong stretch in the offensive zone of late, recording points in seven of his last 11 games (three goals, five assists) for the Red Wings. The veteran winger offers head coach Derek Lalonde a reliable, physical presence with the ability to contribute offensively as well, notching 28 points (12 goals, 16 assists) to go along with 55 hits in 50 games so far this season.
