James Wisniewski requires surgery to repair a left torn ACL that was suffered during the team's opening. The timeframe for Wisniewski's return isn't known at this time, but it's reported he could miss upwards of six months.

Fantasy Impact

This is tough for the Hurricanes considering Wisniewski was a top offseason acquisition. Likewise, he was a top pick for fantasy owners, and it looks like he could be done for the season.
