Tyson Barrie picked up two assists in the Oilers' 6-5 loss to the Blue Jackets Saturday.

The 31-year-old blueliner has been a fairly steady option for fantasy owners so far, registering 43 points (10 goals, 33 assists) in 60 games so far this season.

Edmonton Oilers prospect Dylan Holloway scored a hat trick and four points in Monday's preseason win.

Fantasy Impact: Holloway has been a major standout in the preseason and all but cemented an opening-night lineup spot after Monday's performance. If the 2020 14th overall pick can find a way into the Oilers' top six his fantasy stock could potentially skyrocket.

Mike Smith was the second star in a win over the Dallas Stars on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: Mike Smith has been hot as of late. The 40-year-old netminder appears to have found his form just in time for fantasy (and real life) playoffs. Smith has only allowed six goals in his last six games and has won eight straight starts. Smith is a roster lock right now for fantasy managers.

Oilers goaltender Mikko Koskinen was stellar between the pipes Saturday night, stopping 33 of 34 shots faced before falling in the shootout, 2-1 to the Avalanche.

Fantasy Impact: Koskinen has been spectacular in his last three games in net for the Oilers, posting a 1.67 goals against average and .956 save percentage in that span. The veteran netminder has had an up-and-down season for Edmonton, posting a .904 save percentage and 3.04 goals against average in 41 games (25-10-4) this season.

Jesse Puljujarvi will be put on the shelf for the next month due to a lower-body injury he sustained in a 7-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact: Coach Jay Woodcroft said, "I don't think it was a high-impact event, it was just one of those things where he got tangled up." Put him on the IR and take a look at Robert Thomas of St. Louis if you need a RW replacement and the waiver wire is scarce.
