Semyon Varlamov allowed five goals on 27 shots faced in the Islanders' 5-1 loss to the Capitals.

The veteran backup netminder has been mostly reliable when asked to spell No. 1 goaltender Ilya Sorokin this season, carrying a 2.79 GAA and .910 save percentage in 21 starts (11-8-2) so far this season.

Zach Parise was able to light the lamp for the Islanders Wednesday night, scoring the team's lone goal in a 4-1 loss to the Bruins.

The 28-year-old blueliner carries a 0.43 point per game (three goals, seven assists) to go along with a +12 plus/minus in 23 games so far this season.

Josh Bailey notched one assist Saturday night in the Islanders' 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Bailey has struggled to get going so far this season for the Islanders, picking up points in five of his last 12 games (two goals, three assists). The 33-year-old is part of a veteran-laden forward group that is looking to generate scoring chances on a more consistent basis under new head coach Lane Lambert, scoring just four goals and adding three assists for seven points in 20 games so far this season.

Anthony Beauvillier posted two points for the Islanders Saturday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Beauvillier has struggled early in the season to make much of an impact consistently, picking up points in just two of his last 12 games (two goals, one assist). The 25-year-old offers little more than occasional point production while doing plenty of things well that do not necessarily end up on the stat sheet. Beauvillier has scored five goals and added five assists for 10 points in 22 games so far this season.

Ryan Pulock tallied four assists Saturday night in the Islanders' 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Pulock snapped a four-game pointless drought in a big way Saturday night, assisting on four of the team's five goals in a game the Flyers had no answers for the Islanders attack. The 28-year-old blueliner has been solid so far this season, posting a +10 plus/minus to go along with 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) in 23 games so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Defenseman Thomas Hickey was called up from Bridgeport to fill the void in the Islanders' defense.

Andy Greene recorded an assist in Game 6 versus the Lightning. It was his first point in a while.

Fantasy Impact: Greene has been in the league for 15 years. At this point, he should only be owned in deeper leagues.

Scott Mayfield scored a key goal in Game 6 versus the Lightning. His goal tied the game in the third period which helped the Islanders to make it to overtime where they won.

Fantasy Impact: Mayfield is not much of a fantasy asset and tallied 15 points in the regular season. Unless you are in a deep league, you can probably find someone else on your waiver wire.

Jordan Eberle scored a goal versus the Lightning in Game 6. The goal started the comeback from down 2-0 toward the 3-2 overtime win.

Fantasy Impact: Eberle has been a solid contributor for a long time. He produced 33 points in the regular season.

Matt Martin scored a goal versus the Lightning in Game 4. The goal was the eventual game-winner.

Fantasy Impact: Martin is not much of a fantasy option. He should be avoided in most leagues.
