Our mailbag was full of great suggestions this past fantasy football season (thanks for all the kind words too!). Surprisingly, the top question we received was, “Are you going to launch fantasy baseball?”
I’ll be honest and say that I was a little hesitant to jump into baseball. I mean, my MLB resume consists of working at a baseball card collector’s shop (when I was like 12), and watching the movie Moneyball. But the wise guys here at FantasyPros reminded me that no one wants my advice anyway. What you all want are simple tools and accurate advice from proven experts. That’s something we’re good at delivering.
Here’s what we have planned for fantasy baseball 2012…
Consensus Rankings – As of this post we’re already up to 28 experts and we’ll be adding more over then next month. As we mentioned at The New York Times NFL blog, our expert consensus rankings are very accurate (in fact, the most accurate for last football season).
Consensus Projections – We’re pulling in the top projection sites so you can see details on every player’s projected stats, including the highest/lowest projections for each player.
and coming soon…
Who Should I Draft? – Our popular tool that compares any two players will be available soon so you can see which guy every expert would take and also compare each player’s projected stats.
Custom News and Advice – Our Playbook tool will let you instantly import your team from Yahoo, ESPN, or CBS. You’ll then receive custom daily lineup news and advice based on the players you own or those you’re keeping an eye on.
More good stuff to come. Thanks for your support!
