Ownership totals are in ESPN leagues as of Tuesday

Ryan Fitzpatrick – QB – New York Jets – 24.4 percent

While Fitzpatrick wasn’t expected to do much in a Jets’ offense that typically centers on the ground game, he’s been solid all season and is doing enough to be a fantasy spot starter.

Fitzpatrick has put up his best fantasy performances of the season over the past two weeks. In Week 6, Fitzpatrick threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns against the Washington Redskins before following that up with a season-high 295 yards and two scores on Sunday against the New England Patriots.

While he won’t be asked to do as much as some top-tier fantasy quarterbacks, Fitzpatrick is definitely trending up while being readily available in most leagues. With an offensive line that has been excellent in pass protection and a solid pair of top receivers, Fitzpatrick looks poised to continue putting up strong fantasy numbers.

Theo Riddick – RB – Detroit Lions – 31.1 percent

The Lions ground game has been a bit of a mess this season, but Riddick’s skill set allows him to have some fantasy value in certain leagues. Ameer Abdullah and Joique Bell both sit ahead of Riddick on the depth chart. However, Riddick has emerged as a major pass-catching threat, which gives him some value in PPR leagues.

Riddick’s 46 targets this season trail only Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate in Detroit’s offense. If the Lions can improve following the dismissal of offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, Riddick could see even get more touches with more production moving forward.

In addition, Bell and Abdullah have struggled for the most part this season, which could allow Riddick to get more carries later in the season.

Danny Amendola – WR – New England Patriots – 16.1 percent

It’s not easy to get targets in the Patriots’ crowded offense, but Amendola has emerged as a productive fantasy option over the past couple of weeks. Amendola put together easily his best game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6, catching seven passes for 105 yards. He followed that up by catching eight passes for 85 yards and a touchdown against the elite secondary of the New York Jets.

Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski will continue to be Tom Brady‘s favorite targets, but even the third receiver in the New England offense is worth a look. With the way the Patriots are moving the ball through the air right now, Amendola should continue to be productive.

Consider Amendola a solid pickup either way, but the amount of targets he receives in the next couple of games could partially depend on the health of running back Dion Lewis as well as the return of Brandon LaFell.

Eric Ebron – TE – Detroit Lions – 27.4 percent

The talented Ebron has yet to really break out, but has shown signs of improvement in his sophomore season and offers plenty of upside.

After missing two games with a knee injury, Ebron fell off the radar of most fantasy owners. However, Ebron rebounded on Sunday against a strong Minnesota Vikings defense by catching five passes for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Ebron has received at least five targets in each of his starts this season, collecting at least 10 fantasy points in four games. He has three touchdowns, tying him for the team lead with Calvin Johnson and ranking fourth among tight ends. Unless owners have one of the few elite tight ends, Ebron can offer a rare combination of production and upside at the position and he’s largely available on the waiver wire.
