Quarterback
Tom Brady (NE): $8,700 @ CLE (20.9% Own %)
“Angry Tom” Brady returns from his DeflateGate suspension this week, and his ownership levels figure to be sky high given this narrative, coupled with a strong matchup. The Patriots should return to their offensive ways of old, with Brady leading the charge. He’s probably a must-play in cash games, but you will need to strongly consider fading him in tournaments.
Running Back
Le’Veon Bell (PIT): $8,600 vs. NYJ (20.6% Own%)
Bell showed no rust after missing the first three games of the season, as he rushed 18 times for 144 yards, while catching five passes for 34 yards. Despite this shaping up as a tough matchup on paper, the volume should still be there, with the Pittsburgh offense having the second highest implied total of the week.
Wide Receiver
Antonio Brown (PIT): $9,600 vs. NYJ (26.9% Own %)
Brown was set for a massive game last week, before the Steelers let their foot off of the pedal, which is saying something as he still scored 20.4 FDP. You won’t often see Brown with just five targets, so look for the volume to return in another good matchup at home this week. With that in mind, he figures to have some incredibly high ownership levels, which makes for an easy fade at this high of a price.
Tight End
Delanie Walker (TEN): $6,400 @ MIA (17.7% Own %)
This is a good matchup for Walker, who is looking to bounce back after a rough outing last week. Marcus Mariota is struggling to develop any sort of rapport with his receivers, so I expect him to continue to look for Walker. I would tread carefully in cash games, and I’d certainly look elsewhere in tournaments unless you are entering multiple lineups.
Kicker
Mason Crosby (GB):$4,500 vs. NYG (17.3% Own%)
The Packers check in with the second highest projected team total of the week, with Crosby checking in as a top option in terms of fantasy output. However, he remains priced at the bottom of the barrel among kickers. He’s an easy plug and play option across all formats this week.
D/ST
Minnesota Vikings (MIN): $4,800 vs. HOU (19.5% Own %)
The Texans have the lowest implied total among all Sunday games, and they’ve scored the fewest offensive touchdowns in the NFL this season. The Vikings’ defense has already scored more than 20 FDP twice in four games, and I expect a solid output again this week, so don’t be afraid to utilize them across all formats.
