Who Are These Rookies? (Fantasy Baseball)

In virtually every fantasy league, Dansby Swanson, Andrew Benintendi, Aaron Judge and Robert Gsellman were drafted. We all know who they are, so I won’t be covering them today. Rather, we will dive into 10 rookies who may still be available in your leagues. A few of them can help from the get-go. Others, shouldn’t even be considered for pick up despite looking dominant in a start or two.

Hitters

Mitch Haniger (OF – SEA)
When the Diamondbacks sent Jean Segura for Taijuan Walker, they also gave Haniger to Seattle. The 26-year-old rookie may have struggled in his brief 2016 debut, but his minor league numbers suggest he can help fantasy owners now. Haniger batted .341 with 64 extra-base hits in just 129 games last season. That power has already surfaced in The Bigs this season and should stick around for the long-haul.
Fearless Prediction: .263 BA with 22 HR and 70 RBI in 540 AB
