DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Friday (11/10)

Happy Friday! We’ve put another week in the books, and with the end of Daylight Savings Time, it’s felt like two weeks to me. I’m personally resisting the urge to go into hibernation until April and to be honest; the NBA is one of the main reasons I won’t go that route.

Just a note before we proceed, as we move deeper into the season and injuries begin to take a toll on teams, every day begins with a lot of players listed as “probable” or “doubtful.” I write this article in the morning, and I’ll do my best to filter out the guys who I don’t think are going to play, and mention the guys I’m not sure about. However, I advise everyone to make SURE to check the injury reports later in the day when you’re making or editing lineups.

Many times, starting lineups won’t become clear until about 15 minutes before lineup lock, so it’s important to be flexible, jump on value when it opens up, and understand that the ability to shift quickly is what makes NBA DFS challenging, and also potentially rewarding. Alright, let’s take a look at some preferred plays on this manageable eight-game slate.

Guards

Damian Lillard (POR): $9,400 vs. BKN
I’m not even sure this pick needs any real explanation. Dame is a beast, Brooklyn doesn’t play defense, and…that’s about it. This game is going to run at a fast pace (222.5 O/U), Lillard typically thrives in these scenarios. Two factors could drag down his ownership percentage slightly and make Lillard a solid tournament play in my mind; he busted against Memphis on Tuesday, and Brooklyn isn’t terrible defending against guards. I see no reason why he wouldn’t find a floor of around 47 DK points, with a ceiling of 60+ DK points.
