DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Friday (11/17)

Happy Friday all! We’ve got less than a week until Thanksgiving, and hopefully, next week will be a short work week out there for everyone who wants it to be. Tonight, we’ve got an 11-game slate that looks a bit daunting at first glance. There are a ton of viable roster constructions tonight, as there are strong high-priced players at every position. As always, be on the lookout for injury updates, as late value is almost certain to open up between now and lineup lock. Let’s try to sort through the madness and find a few gems:

Guards

Lou Williams (LAC): $6,600 @ CLE

Williams is way up in salary tonight (he was $5,200 a week ago), but I’m confident he can still pay it off tonight. Cleveland’s defense remains atrocious and shows no signs of improving anytime soon. This is going to be a pace-up game (221.5 O/U), and Williams is going to have to play a whopping 32-35 minutes. He has a floor of around 25 DK points, and a really nice ceiling of 40+ (he scored 60 DK points on Monday night). A final note: one of the things a sharp DFS player will look for is salary difference between DK and FanDuel because even though the roster build requirements are different, the prices are generally fairly comparable. Tonight, Williams is $1,100 LESS on DK than he is on FanDuel, and that makes him a bargain play, even at the highest price he’s been at all season. Fire him up in cash and GPP lineups with confidence.
