DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Thursday (7/12)

There are seven games scheduled this evening in the MLB. What makes this main-slate so intriguing is the quality of starting pitchers available. There are no really bad pitchers taking the mound for stacking opportunity. Meanwhile, the usual suspect offenses are in tough matchups. After looking into this slate even more in-depth, finding value hitters appears to be near impossible. Sure, there are a few punt options, but nothing to feel confident about. Even though it is a smaller slate, the ownership should be spread out quite a bit. There are no “must-play” hitting stacks and a lot of great starting pitchers to choose from. Let’s take a look at some of the best DFS plays tonight.

Pitchers

Blake Snell (TB): $11,700 @ MIN
After being snubbed for the All-star game, Snell should be fired up to pitch in this game against the Minnesota Twins. The Twins have been simply awful against lefties. On the year, they have the fourth highest strikeout rate, sixth lowest wRC+, and third lowest ISO. Brian Dozier is the only hitter who should give Snell issues, but he is having a terrible year. In this game, look for the Rays young starter to mow down the Twins with ease.
