DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Thursday (7/26)

A rare, nine-game slate, is on tap this Thursday evening. Although there are 18 teams playing baseball, the pitching options are a little dicey. There is only one ace to pay up for, with a mid-tier of pitchers who have inflated price tags attached to them. There are also a lot of really bad starters set to start tonight, so finding salary to pay up for hitters will be key. Let’s take a look at some of the best DraftKings pitchers and hitters for tonight’s DFS lineup advice on DraftKings.

Pitchers

Stephen Strasburg (WAS): $12,000 @ MIA
When healthy, Strasburg can be an elite pitcher with plenty of strikeout upside. His talent is unquestioned. In 2018, Strasburg owns a 28.8% strikeout rate with an 11.6% SwStr. Tonight, the Nationals starter will look to shut down the Miami Marlins in the pitcher-friendly ballpark.
The Marlins are one of the leagues worst run generating teams and should pose no threat to a stud, like Strasburg. They own an 87 wRC+ and laughable .123 ISO. He is the highest priced pitcher, but with the lack of other talented arms throwing tonight, he should score the most raw points, in a plus matchup.

Ranger Suarez (PHI): $7,100 @ CIN
Certainly a risky option, the Phillies rookie is worth a look tonight against the Cincinnati Reds. Making his MLB debut, Ranger Saurez has shown upside at the Triple-A level. Owning a 0.57 ERA through three games and 2.76 ERA in 12 games at Double-A, Suarez has the ability to limit the damage.
The Reds two most dangerous hitters are both left-handed hitters (Joey Votto and Scooter Gennett) with the platoon disadvantage. If Saurez can shut these two down and minimize the damage from the rest of the lineup, he could easily pay off his $7,100 price.
