Here we go with another ten game Wednesday slate on FanDuel. We have a couple nice pitching options up top, some elite hitters who are on fire and plenty of value out there for the taking. Get ready to fly through some of my favorite plays tonight. Make sure your carry-on is stowed and get those seat backs in the upright and locked position. Zach Wheeler (NYM): $10,000 @ BAL
Wheels up! The second-highest-priced arm on the board has been a stud in his last four outings, averaging 6.2 IP, 1 BB, 1 ER, 1 QS and 1 W. He actually hasn’t lost in over a month while only giving up just 22% hard contact in that time. I hate to sound cliche, but something has clicked for Wheeler (-113) and he’s been the most fantasy-relevant Mets pitcher out of that starting rotation this season. As a DFS player, you should know how fickle a win can be, therefore, expecting a win is not a best practice. That said, I do expect a quality start here. I really don’t care about the DH in Baltimore as the O’s aren’t a threatening bunch and Wheeler is simply locked in of late. He’s also locked into my cash games tonight.
