FanDuel MLB Lineup Advice: Tuesday (9/25)

With the KC/CIN matchup scheduled to start at 6:40 pm EST, we must remove those players from our pool since they aren’t included in the main slate on FanDuel. However, we still have 14 games to choose from, with a stacked pitcher’s pond.

We’re still waiting on Vegas odds for a handful of games, but there are definitely two games with an over/under of at least nine total runs. Thus far, the DET/MIN matchup leads the way at 9.5 total runs, but I believe we should see some more games around that total (PHI/COL). Also, two teams are considered heavy favorites (-200 odds, or greater) on Tuesday night: the Dodgers and Nationals.

Pitcher

Walker Buehler (LAD): $10,100 @ ARI
Max Scherzer is too expensive and the pitchers below Buehler are too inconsistent. Buehler has allowed two earned runs, or less, in nine of the last 10 performances and shut out his opponents in back-to-back appearances. Buehler has also notched at least seven strikeouts in six of the past seven starts (four consecutive games). Buehler even faced the Diamondbacks on September 2nd: 6.1 IP, 1 ER, and 9 K. I’ll take a repeat performance on Tuesday night.
