DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Wednesday (4/17)

There are 14 games on the schedule for the MLB on Wednesday, but they are split into three different slates on DraftKings with a four-game early slate, a three-game turbo slate, and then a seven-game evening slate. This article will zero in on the seven-game main slate on Wednesday night. The night slate could be interesting as there are a lot of pitcher-friendly umpires behind the plate. The one spot that is a little less favorable for pitchers also happens to be the game with an 11-run Vegas total in Texas between the Angels and the Rangers. I wonder where we should get hitters from?

As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Cole Hamels (CHC): $9,400 @ MIA
The Marlins have scored a total of three runs over their last three games after getting shut down by lefty Jose Quintana on Tuesday. The Cubs fire up another lefty to take the hill on Wednesday with Hamels toeing the rubber. Hamels has pitched well his last two starts allowing just three runs while striking out 11 in 14 innings. He is a sizeable road favorite against the Marlins and has one of those pitcher-friendly umps behind the dish to give him some potential strikeout upside.
