DraftKings MLB Value Plays: Friday (4/12)

The regular season is now in full swing and there is still a lot of excitement in the air surrounding a good majority of the teams in the MLB. Tonight will feature 13 games, meaning most of the league will be in action, allowing fantasy managers to choose from a wide array of options for their starting lineups. Let’s take a quick scan of some of the many choices available in tonight’s delectable slate of games.

Shortstop

Wilmer Difo (WAS): $3,600 vs. PIT
I wanted to mention Difo more purely on the match-up he will be facing tonight as Washington will host Pittsburgh. Against Pirates pitchers, he possesses 0.417 batting average. This also includes 10 hits, four RBI’s, and a 0.462 OBP. Difo would not be a bad option to add for managers that may have allocated a good portion of their resources elsewhere on their teams.

First Base

Josh Bell (PIT): $3,700 @ WSH
Bell is quietly rising up the rankings in terms of hitting amongst first basemen currently. He just crept up to a 0.300 batting average, and has hit in five runs in his last five games played for the Bucs. Bell will be facing up against Patrick Corbin tonight who possesses a 3.75 ERA in his first two starts of the season. The game will also be taking place in Nationals Park which ranks 11th in hits per game by batters this year (1.132).
