FanDuel NFL Lineup Advice: Week 13 (Thanksgiving Slate)

It’s Week 13, which means we’re gearing up for a three-game Thanksgiving slate this Thursday. These small slates can be tough to navigate, especially when they have big player bases like Thanksgiving Day. Generally, Sunday late slates or the Mon-Thu slates are the closest thing to mirroring the Thanksgiving slate, but those contests don’t draw near the volume of Thanksgiving Day. That’s why we’ve got your back here at FantasyPros with FanDuel lineup advice. So, instead of stuffing your face tomorrow, stuff your wallet with the plethora of contests on FanDuel.

Quarterback

Mitchell Trubisky (CHI): $6,800 @ DET
The Lions’ defense has been atrocious all season, having allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2019. They’ve also managed just four interceptions in 11 games, tied for the lowest total in the NFL. Sure, they held Dwayne Haskins in check last week, but prior to that the Lions allowed back-to-back three-touchdown games, including three touchdowns for Trubisky in Week 10. They’ve also allowed at least three passing touchdowns in four of their last six games. Trubisky has done a good job taking advantage of favorable matchups, as he’s scored over 19 points in recent weeks against soft defenses such as the Giants and these Lions. As the second-lowest priced starting quarterback, Trubisky offers a good chance to meet value given the matchup and his recent play. On a small slate like this we can take a risk fading the chalk and leaning on Trubisky.
