No. 3 – San Francisco 49ers (from Miami Dolphins via Houston Texans) – Trey Lance (QB)
It was reported that the 49ers were torn between Lance and Mac Jones, but they’ll opt for the bigger and more athletic of the two. Lance will hope to fit in Kyle Shanahan’s well as a strong and big-armed quarterback with the ability to run the ball and move the pocket.
New SF QB Trey Lance’s psychological tests for the 49ers were “off the charts”, per a source. The 49ers considered him the smartest quarterback in this draft class.

No. 4 – Atlanta Falcons – Kyle Pitts (TE)
With the Falcons sticking with quarterback Matt Ryan for at least another year, they decide to surround him with a dynamic playmaker in Pitts rather than selecting a quarterback of the future. Pitts is listed as a tight end but is more of a weapon who is expected to be a matchup nightmare in the NFL and can line up as a tight end, outside wide receiver, or in the slot.
The highest-drafted TE all-time ?

I’d like to see Kyle Pitts and Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley in the same offense for at least one year. That would be fun.
