Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Tee Higgins (ankle) questionable for Week 5

Tee Higgins (ankle) was limited in practice this week. He is officially listed as questionable for Week 5 against the Ravens. (Source: NFL Communications)

Fantasy Impact: Higgins has played in all three games this season, totaling 20 catches, 315 yards, and two touchdowns. If he’s active against Baltimore, the 23-year-old should be viewed as a fringe top-12 receiver in fantasy football.

Jaylen Waddle (groin) questionable for Week 5

Fantasy Impact: Waddle and fellow receiver Tyreek Hill (quad) are both listed as questionable heading Sunday’s game. Both players are worth staring in fantasy football if active. However, if one or both are forced to miss the contest, players like Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert, and Mike Gesicki would be in line for increased volume.

Fantasy Impact: Allen has been sidelined since Week 1. In his absence, Mike Williams, Joshua Palmer, and Gerald Everett will continue to lead the Chargers’ receiving corps.

Mac Jones (ankle) doubtful for Week 5

Fantasy Impact: Jones struggled through the first three games, tossing just two touchdowns and five interceptions before suffering an ankle injury. With Jones expected to miss Sunday’s game and Brian Hoyer (head) on IR, rookie Bailey Zappe will make his first career NFL start. Despite the enticing matchup, Zappe is nothing more than a QB3 in fantasy football at the moment.
