Players to Trade

James Robinson (RB – JAC)

Michael Carter (12 for 76) and James Robinson (13 for 48) split carries in Week 9, but Carter played more snaps (52% vs 40%) and scored a rushing TD. Robinson out-targeted Carter (2 vs 1) and caught a receiving TD. They tied in routes, and each had a carry inside the 10-yard line. The majority of Robinson’s rushing production came in the 4th quarter as the Jets were looking to close out the game (6 carries for 35 yards). And considering this was just Robinson’s second game with New York and he still had a solid workload despite entering the game with a game-time decision knee injury, he’d be a buy for me in trades this week. He is already starting to take over the early-down work, and he has a longer track record of success, being a fantasy RB1 in back-to-back seasons since he entered the league. He is likely cheaper to acquire than Carter and has a divine playoff schedule. Lions, Jaguars (revenge game), and Seahawks. Wheels up for Robinson in games they can potentially win and keep close with their surging defense.

Treylon Burks (WR – TEN)

Don’t chase the Titans box score guys off waivers. Instead, add Treylon Burks who ran just as many routes as Nick Westbrook (73%) in his first game back from IR. The rookie earned 6 targets and 3 catches for 24 yards. Expect his role to grow with more time removed from his injury.

Leonard Fournette (RB – TB)

Rookie Rachaad White went OVER 100 rushing yards after drawing the start for the Buccaneers in Week 10. He officially finished with 22 carries for 105 yards but was not targeted. He ran a route on 48% of the dropbacks, played 64% of the snaps and earned two carries inside the 10-yard line. 11 of White’s carries came after Leonard Fournette threw an interception in the late 3rd quarter. Fournette finished with 14 carries for 57 rushing yards, but scored. Also was targeted once in the passing game. But he left the game with a hip injury. In this game, the Buccaneers were rotating their RBs every other drive. And although reports have been optimistic about Fournette’s hip injury post-bye-week, I’d still be looking to acquire White. We are already seeing the usage shift more in his favor.
