Liam Hendriks set to throw live BP Friday

Liam Hendriks is scheduled to throw live batting practice Friday. The plan is to activate him from the IL if the session goes well.

Hendriks will rejoin the White Sox for his live BP session after appearing in six games for Triple-A Charlotte. The 34-year-old has missed all of the 2023 season after begging diagnosed with cancer six months ago. Hendriks turned in a great 2022 campaign, posting a 2.81 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 37 saves in 58 outings.

Jorge Polanco diagnosed with mild hamstring strain

Jorge Polanco has been diagnosed with a mild hamstring strain after suffering the injury Wednesday against the Dodgers.
