Ben Lively Under 5.0 Pitcher Strikeouts
Lively has pitched quite well for the Reds over his last three outings, including recording six-plus strikeouts in the trio of affairs. Today, he will face the Brewers at home in a matinee show. A couple of weeks ago, we dominated a bet regarding pitcher strikeouts against the Brewers, who have been one of the most swing-and-miss-friendly teams in the MLB this season. They have, however, been slightly better of late, sitting in the middle of the pack in strikeouts over their past three.
Milwaukee has also taken the first two games of the series against Cincinnati, and they have piled up 15 runs while doing so. Lively is due for a tougher outing following his early success, and it could come on Sunday. Add in the fact that he has only thrown more than 87 pitches in an outing one time, and there is a case to be made that the 31-year-old simply won’t make it long enough to record the over on this prop.

What are Player Props?
Player props refer to wagers that bettors can make based on player performance in a specific game. The majority of player props are built around the most common statistical benchmarks for a specific sport, such as yards and touchdowns in football. Most player props are straight over/under plays that open at or near -110 and are adjusted based on where the money lands. Examples of basketball player prop bets include over/under bets on points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, blocks, or steals.
