Jonathan Taylor granted permission to seek trade
The Colts have granted Jonathan Taylor permission to seek a trade.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor and the Colts have had issues regarding his contract and long-term outlook with the team recently, and Indianapolis has now given him permission to seek a trade. There’s ongoing discussions for the star running back right now, but it’s unclear when or if a deal will actually get done. Taylor is widely considered to be one of the best young RB’s in football, so there will be massive fantasy implications for whatever team he may land on. Zack Moss and Deon Jackson would likely be the two prime fantasy beneficiaries for the Colts if a trade ends up happening before the season.

Josh Jacobs expected to report to Raiders before Week 1
Josh Jacobs is expected to report back to the Raiders and end his holdout before Week 1. While Jacobs is the kind of player who will stay fit even when away from the team, there are questions surrounding his game readiness for the upcoming season after missing so much of training camp.
Fantasy Impact
Zamir White played well in Jacobs’s absence, but he is not as talented as Jacobs. With the contract situation as it is, expect the Raiders to run Jacobs into the ground before either franchising him once more or letting him walk in free agency unless a deal is found. He’s a locked and loaded RB1 when healthy.
