Cooper Kupp might not be ready to return to play Week 5

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp might not be ready to go Week 5 when he returns to the team from injured reserve despite HC Sean McVay maintaining “hope” he is available, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.

Fantasy Impact

McVay said that Kupp was progressing and doing a good job, but he added that “when you’re talking about returning to performance and returning to play, those are different things.” Kupp might be ready to practice once he gets off the IR, but he may need more time to gear up for game speed following his hamstring injury.

Saquon Barkley (ankle) participating in individual drills Thursday

Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) is participating in individual drills Thursday, per Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll.

Fantasy Impact

Barkley is dealing with a high-ankle sprain that caused him to miss Week 3 and is considered day-to-day as of now. Considering the normal timeframe for a high-ankle sprain, Barkley participating in individual drills is a positive step in the right direction. Fantasy managers should monitor his status ahead of a Week 4 matchup with Seattle on Monday.
